Education is getting knowledge that you don’t know or add to what you know. There are those who believe that they can succeed in life without education because according to their understanding they know carrying books, computers and pens is the only way of education forgetting that they received informal knoweledge from their parents.
Even a piece of advice is education. Of course I agree that you can succeed without formal knowledge. Many people in the society suffer alot because of not getting the formal education. A good example is our parents;their children deceive then in order to gain cash from them. Instead of our parents being great bankers, they invest unknowingly in their children. A good illustration ; in my nearby family existing of four children a boy being the firstborn gains alot money through the following methods;he asks for transport, tune it in a different way -fare, ask again pocket money and also misceleneous.
Children especially the firstborns who are at the university use their parents as illiterate people to gain because they lack formal education. A student can ask money for a book which costs fifty shillings and ask a parent five hundred shillings. To me this is injustice to parents and to the student himself.
Formal education is used to do bad things instead of good things. It has brought more of negative than positive in the society.
Instead people are supossed to be adviced on how to bring positive change in the society.
